Appointments at Northwestern and DePaul

Passionate about cultivating the next generation of singers, Brent Funderburk is delighted to join the faculty of Northwestern and DePaul. His primary focus at DePaul University’s School of Music is undergraduate and graduate coaching for recital, recording, and opera preparation. At Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, he supports the opera workshop courses that delve into scene work and musical styles. In addition to his work at academic institutions, Funderburk has also joined the coaching roster at the Ryan Opera Center, Lyric Opera of Chicago’s emerging artist program.
